Marc Leuschner, head of the Overkill sneaker store, holds the very limited edition adidas EQT Support 93/Berlin shoe as he speaks to the media shortly before the shoe went on sale and quickly sold out at Overkill on January 16, 2018 in Berlin, Germany. The shoe, a collaboration between Adidas Originals and the BVG Berlin public transport authority, combines BVG visual elements, including the color pattern on Berlin subway seats, with a free integrated one-year pass for Berlin public transportation. The sneaker sells for EUR 180 a pair, is limited to 500 pairs, 300 of which quickly sold out today at Overkill. Sneakers fans had put themselves on a list that was much longer than 300. Some fans had been waiting since last Friday and could not leave if they wanted to remain on the list. Get premium, high resolution news photos at getty
