This exhibition traces the artistic roots of Tim Burton, who has given the world numerous films including “Edward Scissorhands,” “Batman,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” and of course, “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” which premiered in Japan 20 years ago. Around 500 works are on display, including original character illustrations, props and sculptures, a valuable collection of photographs and films Burton shot in his teens, as well as letters and other prized documents.
